About
Kylee is a Bend native with 10 years of experience in furniture design and upholstery. She studied architecture at Carnegie Mellon University where a love of beautiful materials and traditional handwork led her to a focus on furniture design and construction. She returned to Bend in 2016 and joined a furniture repair and upholstery shop where she learned upholstery from multiple upholsterers with decades of experience. Â
Millhouse Upholstery combines her love of traditional upholstery techniques with a decades-long background in contemporary design to offer a unique shop capable of everything from updating living room staples, to restoring family heirlooms. In addition, she hopes it will continue Bend’s tradition of embracing local and sustainable options that make our community stronger and preserve the wonderful environment that makes Bend such an amazing place to live.
When she’s not upholstering furniture out of her 1930’s millhouse, Kylee enjoys skiing, running and biking in the mountains she grew up in, as well as running errands on her big pink cargo bike.

Custom Van Cushions
These gorgeous orange cushions were custom made for Dirtbag Conversions for a customer looking for a unique bed solution for their conversion van. Careful measuring and high quality foam make these cushions comfortable for both dining and sleeping, and the brilliant and durable orange fabric goes beautifully with the custom walnut table.
Channel Back Armchair
This small channel back armchair, was reupholstered in a beautiful traditional brocade. The darker green fabric helps to highlight the deep reds of the wood, while the traditional fabric keeps this piece looking timeless.
